To order a copy of a birth certificate in person come to the Health department at 2241 S. 19th in Abilene, complete the request form, and pay for the certificate(s). The certificates will be ready the following day.

The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District has death certificates from 1940 to present.

Death certificates are filed for all those deaths occurring within the city limits of Abilene Justice Precinct One. Certified copies of these records may be obtained by immediate family (Spouse, parent, grand parents, sister, brother, child), estate's executor, or estate's attorney.

To order a copy of a death certificate in person, come to the Health department at 2241 S. 19th in Abilene, complete the request form, and pay for the certificate(s). The certificates will be ready the following day.
