I believe the following ran in the Kilgore PaperOVERTON----Funeral services for Mathew Odus Eaton, 70 of New London, will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Pearson Funeral Home. The Rev. O.O. Ervin will officiate. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetary. Mr. Eaton died Wednesday in an Overton hospital after suffering a heart attack at his home. He was a retired farmer and lived in Rusk County all of his life. He was born in New London. Survivors include two sons Kenyon Eaton of New London and Hayden Eaton of Conroe; one daughter, Mrs. Travis Reece of Houston; two brothers V.R.Eaton of Arlington and J.L. Eaton of Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Mullins and Mrs. Robert Pool, both of Henderson; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
