Gloria, this is the Rusk Co. School Picture I told you about. I've left the "name labels" my grandmother added a long time ago, which should be easy enough to edit out, but easier for you to identify the five children below.

They are the children of Levi M. Ector and Rendie Sisson Ector, all born in Meriwether Co., GA, but moved to Rusk Co. after 1908. Levi was a grand-nephew of Matthew D. Ector who first came to Texas before the Civil War.

In the top row is Florence Ector born 10-18-1896 and her sister Lonie A. Ector b. 3-1-1904. Florence married a John L. Thompson, but I'm not sure if he was from Rusk or not. Lonie married L.J. Rives and they lived right outside of Henderson until they died.

Bottom row has George Benton "Ben" Ector b. 4-10-1906, Raymond Marion "Ray"  Ector (my grandad) b. 6-17-1908 and Howard Brantley "Diggie" Ector b. 12-3-1902.  Ray looks around 8 or 10 maybe?, I'm guessing here, so rough date of the   picture would be 1916-1918 possibly.
