Dearest Baby & C

First received your letter and one from Lena. I am so glad Charley is better. Tell him I said quit cigarettes. That will help him more than any thing. I chewed and smoked tobacco 55 years. I quit 7 years ago and it sure help me. I wish your brother would quit.

I have no news. Sister and I are well so is brother John. Homer Fite is about to clerk in a package store in Ft Worth. Maudie will be home this evening. I canít leave here before the first of July. Matalee wonít be here before then. Taledo Hohio and Maudie are leaving for across the water to Europe some where. Has free passage with all expenses paid.

Write me often Baby, I am still uneasy about Charley. Take good care of him and your sweet self.

Sister joins me in love to all. Remember me to all the children and your brother.
