WINFORD GRADY AND ELIZABETH COOPER YOUNG

Winford Grady Young married Ruth Elizabeth Cooper, the daughter of L.F. Cooper and Cora Turner Cooper, in about 1919. They both belonged to the Baptist Church, and he was ordained a Deacon while a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church.

The Youngs became parents of two sons. The first, Earl, owns and operates Pearson Abstract and Title Company in Henderson. His wife is Annie Maline Parrott Young and they have two sons, Dan Earl and Jim Neal Young. All are members of the Baptist Church.

George Cooper Young, the second son of Winford Grady and Ruth Elizabeth, is a rural mail carrier out of Laneville, Texas. He is a deacon, ordained by the First Baptist Church of Laneville. He and his wife, Dorothy Johnson Young, also have two sons, Samuel Johnson and Michael. Samuel lives in Corsicana, Texas. He has two daughters, Mary and Michelle Young. Michael is married to Shannon Thompson, and they are the parents of Randi Kay, born in 1982.

Ruth E. Young died in Rusk County in October, 1962. Grady Young died in the same county in November, 1975. Both are buried in Memorial Garden Cemetery, near Henderson, Rusk County, Texas.
