George Leonard YOUNG

George Leonard Young was born in Alabama, and after moving with his parents, Rufus and Rebecca Young, as well as other brothers and sisters; he married, as his first wife, Ella Thomas.

To George and Ella were born four children. Their first child, Winford Grady Young, married Ruth Elizabeth Cooper, and they had two sons, Earl and George.

The Young’s first daughter, Octavis Young, married Jim Fletcher. The second daughter, Louise (Louie) Young, married Oliver I. Cramer; and their last child, Eunice Young, married Jimmy Davidson.

Ella Thomas Young died in 1905, and George Leonard later married Nancy Minor. Two girls were born to the couple: Mattie Young, who married Donald R. Dunn; and Willie Young, who married Houston Harris.
