Joe Wylie, sixth son of William E. and Monnie Meyer Wylie, was born May 27, 1932, at home. In August of 1953 he married Jeanine Summerford, daughter of John Wade and Eleanor Lane Summerford, in Houston. On February 2, 1955, their son, David Wylie, was born. He married Lynn Parish in Henderson on July 31, 1976. The Joe Wylies’ first daughter, Lynn Wylie, was born November 7, 1956. She married Kerry Glen Sitton on December 20, 1980. Joann Wylie, the second daughter, was born April 6, 1959.
