I, Wesley N. Warlick, was born in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas. My parents were G.T. and Cornelia Atchison Warlick. My sister is Viola Warlick Hebert. I met and married Mabel Elaine Wilson, also born in Port Arthur, Texas. She was the daughter of Fred Wilson, born in Dallas County to John and Jessie Moore Wilson. Ardis Harrell Wilson was born in Rusk County to Jerry M. and Emma Ann Deason Harrell.
Elaine and I moved to Rusk County in February 1964, from Port Arthur, Texas. We have one son, Dale Wayne Shults and three grandchildren.
I am self-employed with a cabinet and furniture shop and do antique furniture repair. As a hobby, I do wood carving, such as birds, small animals and toys. I began woodcarving at about fourteen years of age.
