ERVIN L. TUTTLE

Ervin Lee Tuttle, Jr. and Maxine Williams Tuttle and their two sons, Ervin Lee II (Tommy) and Robert Cecil (Bobby), moved to Henderson from Longview in 1957.
E.L. Tuttle, Jr. was a native of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He worked for P.G. Lake Oil Company in Overton when the family moved to Henderson. He later served as a fireman with the Henderson Fire Department before his death on December 12, 1976.
Maxine, a native of Sunnyvale, Texas, worked for Sears, Roebuck, and Company for eighteen years, first in Henderson and later in Longview.
Tommy was born on September 15, 1945 in Lewisville, Texas. He died on March 2, 1970 as of result of injuries received while serving with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Bobby was born on June 2, 1948 at Kilgore, Texas. He married Ann Martin of Beckville, in Panola County, on August 20, 1971. They are the parents of two children: Robert Martin Tuttle, born October 27, 1976 and Lacy Suzanne Tuttle, born March 15, 1979. Bobby and Ann lived in the Roquemore Community in Rusk County from August, 1971 until March, 1979. At that time they moved to the western edge of Panola County near Martin Lake.
Bobby is employed by Texas Utilities Generating Company, and Ann was a teacher with the Henderson Independent School District before the birth of their children.
