Sollie M. Lankford and Corine Waller were married in 1934 in Smith County at the Tyler Courthouse.

Sollie worked in the oil field until the last few years before retirement. He was an A.and E. mechanic for several oil companies. Later he was a security guard at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas. He retired and he and Corine are now living in Henderson, Texas.

To the union of Sollie and Corine was born one child, Sandra Sue. Sandra Sue is married to Robert (Bob) Mitchell, who is Chief of Police at New London, Texas. Sandra and Bob have three children: Christina, Robert, and Daniel.
