WILLIAM THOMAS GREEN

William Thomas Green was born in Mt. Enterprise, September 10, 1870. He died in Henderson, April 3, 1942 and is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery. His parents were William M. Green and Georgia Angeline Barrett. He married, first, Armintie Anderson, November 14, 1894, in Rusk County and second, Olelia Ann Hudgins, December 1, 1909, in Rusk County.

Armintie Anderson was born January 11, 1877, at Mt. Enterprise, and died January 29, 1907 at Mt Enterprise, and is buried in the Shiloh Cemetery. Her parents were John T. Anderson and Sarah Catherine Griffin.

William Thomas Green and Armintie Anderson were the parents of the following four children:

Ernest Armine Green, born January 1, 1896 at Mt Enterprise, died May 18, 1945, in Henderson and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Henderson. He married Beulah Blanche Matlock, March 18, 1916, in Mt. Enterprise.

Monnie Green, born October 28, 1897, at Mt. Enterprise, died June 3, 1978 in Sonora, Sutton County, Texas, and is buried in Sonora. She married Cecil Elliott, February 22, 1918, at Mt. Enterprise.

John Thomas Green, born November 4, 1899 at Mt. Enterprise, died November 14, 1956, in Henderson, and is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Henderson. He married first, Cora Chaney, November 27, 1920, Rusk County, and second Helen Whiteside, and third Katherine Walker Baldwin.

Elberta Green, born October 15, 1903, in Mt. Enterprise, lives in Henderson now, 1981. She married Berry Earl Norris, March 25, 1942 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Olelia Ann Hudgins was born in Georgia, July 27, 1877, died February 3, 1944, in Henderson, and is buried in Shiloh Cemetery. Her parents were William Hudgins and Mary Jane Winfrey. No children were born to this marriage.
