WILLIAM H. ROSS

William Hugh Ross, born July 29, 1926 in Rusk County, Texas, is the son of William Blane Ross and Annie Lou Jones Ross. He married A. Marie Whitehead, daughter of Mrs. Edgar Wilmer Whitehead and the late Edgar Wilmer Whitehead. Marie was born May 16, 1929.

William Hugh Ross has been employed by Texas Eastman Kodak Company, Longview, Texas for thirty years and is production assistant in the ethylene glycol department. For the past twenty-three years, Marie has been employed in the Henderson Independent School District as a fifth grade teacher.

The Rosses had two children, Carol Ann Ross Young and Robert William Ross. Carol Ann is married to Jess H. Young and is a teacher in Cypress-Fairbanks School in Houston. Her husband, Jess H. Young, is a certified public accountant, with his own private firm in Houston. Their children are Jeffrey Alan Young and Aimee Rochelle Young.

Robert (Bob) William Ross died October 22, 1977 as the result of an automobile accident. Bob was a naval Vietnam veteran.
