"We, the Commissioners’ Court of Panola County, Texas, meeting in Regular Session this 14th day of December, 1998 do hereby appoint the following persons to two (2) year terms on the Panola County Historical Commission.

Said two year terms commence January 1, 1999 and end December 31, 2000. Passed unanimously this 14th day of December 1998 in open Court."        Signed by John Cordray, County Judge.

Mary Lee Knight is the  Chairman of the Commission , Leila Belle LaGrone is the Vice-Chairman, Mrs. Robbie Sutlive as Alternate Vice-Chairman and Miss Kay Mauritzen was selected as Secretary.   (All elected for the term of 1999-2000)
