Message from the Superintendent
GREETINGS
It affords me a great deal of pleasure to be asked to contribute a small part of the first edition of the Beckvillian, by bringing you a word of greeting. I hope that each succeeding issue will afford all concerned the same thrill and pleasure as this, the first.
the BECKVILLIAN records in picture and story a year of high school life. It is a record of work well done, of many hours spent in fine fellowship, of striving with others for better human relationships, and for a fuller, freer, happier life. It is also a challenge to keep alive in memory the activities of the year that stimulate thought and deeper purpose...all to the end that each may do well his part of the World's Work. My wish for you is that the coming years may witness the flowering and the fruiting of the plantings of the high School year 1944-45.
Sincerely,
Merwyn L. Ramsey
