State of Texas I, Lemuel Herrin, do make
and ordain this my last will
Panola County and testament in manner and form following.
1st, I will all my Estate both real and
personal with
all my negroes, my household and kitchen furniture to my wife, Mary
Herrin
for her lifetime and at her death an equal division among all my
children.
I wish them to divide things after having everything valued. The one
that
gets first choice, the second time gets the last and so on till all is
disposed of. 2nd I nominate and approve Gresham Herrin and William M.
Herrin,
my sons, executors to this my last will without giving security and to
furnish Tabitha Pearce a home of one hundred and fifty acres of land
with a house as she is a widow and without a home furnished. Now to
comply
with this request leaving this my last will and testament in witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand the 16th day of July 1850.
