JAMES W. CARTER, Pvt./Cpl., Co. G, enlisted 20 May 1862 at Pulaski, TX, born Montgomery Co. AL, age 30, black eyes, black hair, fair complexion, occupation overseer & was 5’ 11" tall. Discharged 13 Mar 1863 because of chronic hepatitis.

JAMES CHATHAM, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 19 Jul 1862 at Carthage, TX. (no other information)

JAMES M. FAIN, Pvt./2^nd Lt., Co. G, enlisted 4 May 1862 at Carthage, TX. (no other information)

DAVID FRANKLIN, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 5 May 1862 at Carthage, TX, born LA, age 45, black eyes, black hair, dark complexion, occupation mechanic & was 5’ 8" tall.

JOHN HENDERSON, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 20 May 1862 at Pulaski, TX, born NC, age 27, hazel eyes, black hair, fair complexion, occupation farmer & was 5’ 11½" tall.

BENJAMIN McMILLEN, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 28 May 1862 at Pulaski, TX, born AL, age 25, hazel eyes, dark hair, fair complexion, occupation farmer & was 5’ 9" tall. Died 17 Nov 1862 at Delhi, LA Hospital of camp fever. (his name was McMillan on the enlistment paper)

MARSHALL McMILLEN, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 28 May 1862 at Pulaski, TX, born AL, age 28, blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, occupation farmer & was 5’ 11" tall. (his name was McMillan on the enlistment paper)

MATTHEW D. McMILLEN, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 28 May 1862 at Puliski, TX, born AL, age 31, blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, occupation farmer & was 6’ tall. Died 28 Jan 1863 at Rosedale, LA of typhoid pneumonia. (his name was McMillan on the enlistment paper)

CHARLES S. SMITH, Pvt., Co. G, enlisted 26 Apr 1862 at Carthage, TX, born Fayette Co. MS, age 17, blue eyes, black hair, fair complexion, occupation farmer & was 5’ 6" tall. Discharged 20 Nov 1862. (his guardian, A. A. Cherry, signed his consent)

GREEN W. DEAN, Pvt., Co. D, enlisted 21 Apr 1862 at Mansfield, LA, born Panola Co. TX, age 20, blue eyes, light hair, fair complexion, occupation engineer & was 5’ 4" tall. This man didn’t enlist at Panola County, TX, but said he was born there.
