In July 1974, Wayne realized the culmination of a lifetime dream when he purchased land known as the Russell Mason ranch in the Brachfield Community.  The ranch consists of six hundred and twenty-two acres which now is all cleared.  There are several ponds on the land and a new three-acre pond which is stocked with catfish.  Thirty-five acres of coastal Bermuda and fifteen acres of Alicia provide hay for the cattle.  Many improvements have been made on the land, including three new barns and a horse barn.  Registered black Brangus bulls are used with a commercial cattle operation.

In April 1980, Wayne and I, Jane, moved to the ranch from Beaumont.  Immediate construction of a new addition to the existing home was begun by Orr Construction Company.  It was completed in January 1981.

Wayne and I are both graduates of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  We married in 1948 before we graduated in 1949 and 1950, respectively.  We are parents of two sons.  David graduated from Texas Tech in 1976 with a Master of Science in chemical engineering, and Steve graduated from Texas Tech in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering.  David married Jetti Irwin, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Billy Joe Irwin of the Laneville Community on August 2, 1980.

Wayne opened an office in Henderson for his oil and gas investment business in January 1981.

My mother, Mary I. Coffey, moved to Henderson in May 1980, from Pecos, Texas.

We are newcomers to East Texas, but we love Henderson.  We have many interests we pursue in this beautiful country.  We are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Henderson.

The name Fahle is of German descent.
