Dovie Adams 

Funeral for Dovie Adams, 92, of Center will be at 11 a.m. 
Saturday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, Center, with the Rev. 
Kenneth Verner officiating. 

Adams died Jan. 29, 2004, in a Nacogdoches hospital. 

Born Nov. 16, 1911, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of 
John T. and Jennie Emanis McCauley. She had been a dietician 
for Shelby General Hospital and Center Elementary School. She 
was married to Ernest Adams, and he preceded her in death. 

Survivors include a daughter, Kinda Baker of New Caney; two 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. today.
