Michael Abernathy 
Hawthorn Funeral Home 

 CARTHAGE - Memorial services for Michael Abernathy, 45, of 
Carthage will be held 10 a.m. today at Hawthorn Funeral Home 
State Room, with the Rev. Doc Lazarine officiating. 

 Mr. Abernathy died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2004, in Carthage. He 
was born Sept. 4, 1959, in Houston, the son of James Robert 
and Mary Pauline McFadden Abernathy. He was a graduate of 
Conroe High School class of 1978. He enjoyed computers and 
video games. 

 Survivors include two sisters, Darlene Eakin of Longview and 
Anna Nelson of LaGrange; two brothers, Robert Abernathy and 
wife, Charlotte, of DeBerry, and Jimmy Abernathy of Conroe, 
and numerous nieces and nephews.
