Mary Frances Adams 
Strong Cemetery, Shelby Co., TX

Funeral for Mary Frances Adams, 73, of Center will be at 10 
a.m. today at Watson and Sons Chapel, Center, with the Rev. 
Pat Windham officiating. Burial will be in Strong Cemetery, 
Shelby County. 

Adams died May 4, 2004, in Nacogdoches. 

Born Dec. 20, 1930, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of 
Joe Elzie and Fannie Sims Dockens. She was was a homemaker and 
a member of of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Houston. She was 
married to Charles Cleburne Adams, and he preceded her in 
death. 

Survivors include include a daughter, Linda Coats of 
Nacogdoches; son, Charles Adams of San Antonio; sister, Sally 
Jonell Smith of Livingston; five grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren.
