 Funeral services for Clarence Adams, 52, of Lancaster will be 
1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at St. John Baptist Church in 
Marshall with the Rev. S.L. Harris Jr. officiating. Interment 
will follow at St. John Cemetery in Marshall under the 
direction of Lewis Funeral Home. 

 Mr. Adams died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at his home. He was born 
Dec. 3, 1951, in Marshall to Oscar Adams Sr. and Annie Ruth 
Sheppard Adams. He had worked as a shipping and receiving 
clerk. 

 Survivors include his three sons, Christopher Adams and 
Clarence Adams III, both of Dallas, and Clarence Adams Jr. of 
Port Arthur; three daughters, Lakindra Horace, Lashondrea 
Franklin and Reshan Adams, all of Dallas; four grandchildren; 
his mother, Annie Ruth Adams of Marshall; two brothers, 
Antoine (Tom Tom) Washington of Dallas and Caloridge LaVoisher 
Brown of Marshall; four sisters, Mary Adams, Shirley Lane, 
Dianne Gray, and Veshenda Jenkins, all of Marshall; 
grandmother, Annie Mae Green Sheppard of Marshall; mother- and 
father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jernigan of Dallas; other 
relatives and friends.
