09/26/2004, Sunday Obituaries The Daily Sentinel, Nacogdoches Rosa Mae Adams Redland Cemetery, Lilbert, TX Rosa Mae Adams, 93, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, in Webster, Texas. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. Al Perry officiating, and George Parmer reading the obituary. Burial will follow at Redland Cemetery in Lilbert, Texas. Mrs. Adams was born February 16, 1911, in Dry Prong, La., to G.W. and Eugenia Foster Washburn. She was a lifetime resident of Nacogdoches and a member of Cushing Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Adams, on Feb. 12, 1981; and her son, Lenville C. Adams. Survivors include her son, Eugene Adams and wife, Erma, of Nacogdoches, Texas; daughters, Faye Perry and husband, Al, of Alvin, Texas, Joyce Wilson of Kountze, Texas, and Eloise Greenville and husband, Vernon, of Nacogdoches, Texas; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be James Lynn Adams, Steve Greenville, Greg Adams, James Perry, George Perry and Timothy Lynn Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Dale, Don Trawick, and Leland Wasburn. Memorials in her honor may be made to the First Baptist Church of Rosharon, Building Fund, Rosharon, Texas 77583. Visitation will be held Monday from noon until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
