Jerry Benjamin Allen Sr. 
Out of State, Cedar Grove Cemetery, Many, LA

MANY, La. - Services for Jerry Benjamin Allen Sr., 57, of 
Longview will be held at 2 p.m. today, Sept. 26, at Robeline 
First Baptist Church with Brother Ray Dyess officiating. 

Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Many. Arrangements 
are by Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. Mr. Allen died 
Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, in a Longview nursing facility. 
Visitation was 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at the funeral home. 

Mr. Allen was born Sept. 17, 1947, in Robeline, La., to Ruby 
Annie Anders Allen and John Lester Allen, who preceded him in 
death. 

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Apryle Allen 
Mitchell and Brad Mitchell of Allen; two sons, Jerry Benjamin 
Allen Jr. and James Lester Allen, both of Longview; his 
children's mother, Susan Louise Allen of Longview; two 
brothers and sisters-in-law, John Phillip and Rosemarie Allen 
of Dallas and Ray and Willie Mae Allen of Natchitoches, La.; 
three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dottie and Ralph Garrett of 
Shreveport, La., Patsy Ann and Glen Teer of Many, La., and 
Millie Lynn and Barry Savell of Natchitoches; one grandchild, 
Madison Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
