 RUSSELVILLE, ARK. - Roy J. Alford, 52, of Russellville, 
formerly of Jefferson, died Monday, May 24, 2004. Interment 
will be in the Lockett Family Cemetery in Jefferson. Cremation 
arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral 
Service of Russellville. 

 The son of Jack and Gladys Lockett Alford, he was born July 
11, 1951, in Jefferson. He married Deneshia Cassity in 
Marshall in 1973. Mr. Alford was a graduate of East Texas 
Baptist University, and a veteran of the United States Navy. 
He worked as a senior reactor operator with Arkansas Nuclear 
One for 10 years. 

 Mr. Alford was preceded in death by his parents and one 
brother, Robert Allen Kee. 

 He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deneshia 
Cassity-Alford of Russellville; two sons, Jason T. Estes and 
wife Connie of Fayetteville, Ark., and Jeremy T. Estes of 
Springdale, Ark.; two grandsons, Joshua Rieper and Valen 
Estes, both of Fayetteville; one sister, Patsy Ponder of 
Marshall; and one brother, Bruce Kee of Jefferson. 

 A memorial service is planned at a later date.
