 HUGHES SPRINGS - Funeral services for Mildred Elsie Beal 
Alderson, 90, of Flower Mound, formerly of Hughes Springs will 
be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at Reeder-Davis Chapel with 
Gary Stewart of Hughes Springs Church of Christ officiating. 
Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the 
direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. 

 Mrs. Alderson died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, in Flower Mound. 
She was born May 3, 1914, in Liberty, Marion County to Joseph 
and Ruby Beal. She was a homemaker and a member of First 
Baptist Church of Hughes Springs, and loved playing '42.' 

 Survivors include her children and their spouses, Treva 
Hawkins of Tucker, Ga., Louise Southall of Hurst, Patsy and 
Don Sloan of Lake Kiowa, Janette and Johnny Jackson of 
Valiant, Okla., Ronald Alderson of Dallas, Phillip and Rita 
Alderson of Garland, Paula and Scott Beard of San Marcos, and 
Susan Alderson of Austin; 15 grandchildren and 18 
great-grandchildren. 

 Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral 
home.
