Morris E. 'Mutt' Allen 
Green Hill Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant

Graveside services for Morris Everett Mutt Allen, 82, of 
Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Green 
Hill Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. Services are under the 
direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Allen died 
Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, in a Longview hospital. 

Mr. Allen was born Oct. 31, 1922, in Titus County to Roy and 
Nellie Allen. He served his country in the U.S. Army during 
World War II and saw combat in Germany. Mr. Allen was a 
lifetime member of the Disabled World War II Veterans. He was 
preceded in death by his wife, Carl Florence Allen; and four 
brothers, W.V. Allen, Woodrow Allen, Russell Allen and Horace 
Allen. 

Survivors include one brother, Johnny Allen of Shelbyville; 
three sisters, Margaret LaPrade of Mount Pleasant, Jane 
Southerland and Dorothy Jean Little, both of Longview; and a 
dear friend, Eddie Bishop.
