Yvonne 'Tootie' Abel 
Gladewater MP

GLADEWATER Graveside services for Yvonne 'Tootie' Abel, 77, of 
Longview will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at 
Gladewater Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Croley Funeral 
Home of Gladewater. Mrs. Abel died Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004. 

Mrs. Abel was born Jan. 24, 1927, in Pitcher, Okla. She was a 
retired nurse and a member of several bridge clubs. Mrs. Abel 
was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Longview. 

Mrs. Abel is survived by one son, Tom Abel of Longview; one 
sister-in-law, Rufene Cook of Mount Pleasant; one 
brother-in-law, Mack Rankin of Dallas and many special nieces, 
nephews and friends. 

Mrs. Abel was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis E. and 
Marguirette Cook; two sisters, Opal Rankin and Sallie Wyche; 
two brothers, Johnny Cook and Bobby Cook; one brother-in-law, 
Everette Wyche; and one sister-in-law, Betty Cook Chronister. 

No formal visitation is scheduled.
