Lorine Abshier 
Simpson Campground Cemetery

Funeral for Lorine Abshier, 88, of Woden will be at 2 p.m. 
Thursday at the Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with the Rev. 
Reagan Sowell officiating. Burial will be in Simpson 
Campground Cemetery. 

Abshier died Dec. 7, 2003, in Nacogdoches. 

Abshier was born March 7, 1915, in Batson. She was married to 
Rufus Abshier, and he preceded her in death. She is also 
preceded in death by grandson, Darrell Weeks. 

Survivors include a son, Robert Abshier of Woden; a daughter, 
Emma Frances Abshier of Woden; two grandchildren; eight 
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
