1-12-03 Marshall News Messenger Obituaries Ella Faye Anderson Sullivan Funeral Home Funeral services for Miss Ella Faye Anderson, 95, of Waskom, Texas will be Monday, Jan. 13, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Waskom United Methodist Church in Waskom under the direction of the Sullivan Family Funeral Home in Marshall. The Dr. S.M. Dunman and Rev. Sidney Akin and CLS Buck Newsome will officiate the services. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery in Waskom. Ms. Anderson died Jan. 10, 2003 in Shreveport, La. at 4:15 a.m. She was born Nov. 9, 1907 in Mason County, Texas to Lucian Boaz Anderson and Minerva Lee Awalt Anderson. Ms. Anderson attended Marshall and Waskom public schools. She was a homemaker after she retired from working at Olen Craft in 1972 where she had worked as a supervisor over lumber invoicing since 1943 when the company was known as Frost Lumber Co. She had also worked as a bookkeeper for Vincint Vaughan, Co. She was a member of Waskom United Methodist Church, where she would like any memorials to be sent, if you would not like to send any flowers. She was active in the United Methodist Women as well as being active at the Waskom Community Center where she loved to help the local seniors celebrate their 90th birthdays. Visitation will be at the 100 East Travis St. location of the Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 from 4-6 p.m. Pallbearers are Bill Wilson, Joe Futch, Danny Rust, M.J. Norwood, John Kelley, R.L. Salmon and Wayne Kring. Honorary pallbearers are her godsons, Jason Wallace and Jody Wallace. Surviving relatives include special friend, Jeannie Wallace; close friend, Helen Rudd; two godsons, Jason and Jody Wallace; and many relatives and good friends.
