Lawrence Acosta 
Precella Cemetery, Nacogdoches

Funeral service for Lawrence Acosta, 85, of Nacogdoches, Texas will 
be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church with Monsignor James E. Young and Rev. Doc Lazarine 
officiating. Burial will in Precella Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas. 

Mr. Acosta died June 7, 2003, in Nacogdoches, Texas. 

He was born August 10, 1917, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Lee Acosta 
and Christina Rolla Acosta. 

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lillie May Acosta of 
Nacogdoches, Texas; sons, Kenneth Acosta of Nacogdoches, Texas, 
Taylor Gale Acosta of Lufkin, Texas, Billy Church of Lufkin, Texas; 
daughters, Florence Buster of Nacogdoches, Texas, Pat Dixon of 
Pollok, Texas, Jeanie Pinkston of Kingtown, Texas, Margie Dixon of 
Lufkin, Texas, Carol Sims of Orange, Texas, Felica Brown of Orange, 
Texas; brother, Leo Acosta of Nacogdoches, Texas; sisters, Nora 
Garcia of Nacogdoches, Texas, Margaret Rogers of Nacogdoches, Texas, 
Evie Keller of Houston, Texas, Rosa Mae Martinez of California; 35 
grandchildren; and 63 great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday followed by Rosary at 
7 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel.
