Jeanne Witt Anderson 

A memorial service for Jeanne Witt Anderson, a former Longview 
resident, will be held today, April 16, at West Lake Village Inn 
Gardens in Los Angeles. Dr. David Lee of Millersville, Md., will 
officiate. 

Mrs. Anderson passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at her residence 
after a long illness. 

She was born July 8, 1931, to Mary H. and James S. Witt. she was 
preceded in death by her mother. She moved to Longview with her 
parents in 1950. 

She attended Gulf Park College in Gulfport, Miss. She was an 
accountant for Touche Ross accounting firm and Casablanca Express of 
Los Angeles. 

She is survived by her father, James S. Witt, and his wife, Ann C. 
Witt, of Longview, and three devoted children, Sherry Lee and her 
husband, Dr. David Lee of Millersville, Md., Charles C. McClendon of 
Los Angeles and James C. McClendon and his wife, Wendy, of Las 
Vegas. Survivors also include four grandchildren, Jonathan and 
Jeremy Lee, Nicholas McClendon and James Kennedy McClendon, and two 
great-grandchildren.
