Teddy L. Adkins

Teddy L. Adkins was born April 11, 1959. He passed away at his home 
on Sunday, April 20, 2003. 

God reached down Easter Sunday and took our special angel home with 
him. Teddy was surrounded at his home by his loved ones, who loved 
him so and he loved greatly in return. He accomplished so many goals 
in his short life. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at 
Tyler with a master's degree, and he owned his own construction 
business. 

He leaves to cherish his sweet memories his beloved mother, Shirley, 
and stepfather, Thomas Odom of East Mountain; his father and 
stepmother, Ted and Margie Adkins of Mississippi; a sister and 
brother-in-law, Tonya and James Applewhite of Longview; a brother, 
Doug Adkins of Rockwall; three stepsisters; two nieces; six nephews; 
and a host of friends. Teddy will be greatly missed by all who loved 
him. 

Teddy's final message to his family and friends: "I did it my 
way!!!" 

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today, April 22, at 
Lakeview Funeral Home. 

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the 
chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Tommy Brasher officiating. 

Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
