Viola Leifeste Adcock 
Cremation

Viola Leifeste Adcock died on Saturday, June 26, 2003, in a Longview 
hospice center. She was born March 19, 1919, in Mason to Emil and 
Sophie Leifeste. Mrs. Adcock worked for many years for the U.S. 
government as an adjuster for the IRS. Honoring her request, 
cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home 
of Longview. Mrs. Adcock was preceded in death by her parents; her 
husband, Auvel Adcock; one daughter, Shirley Beth Wickersham; and 
two brothers, Clarence and Henry Leifeste. 

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bob Kyle of 
Longview; two sons and daughters-in-law, Weldon and Eileen Adcock of 
Gallup, N.M., and Terry and Barbara Adcock of Cocoa, Fla.; 11 
grandchildren, Kimberly Engelke, Kileen and Kenny Gaddis, Cynthia 
and Brent Bolen, Christa and Rick Raney, Tim and Jennifer Adcock, 
Todd Adcock and Tracy Adcock; 12 great-grandchildren; and one 
brother, Theo Leifeste of Mason.
