Ministry, Missions
& Flexibility –
All our ministry work is being scheduled and set up by two local pastors, Jaime Padilla and Jaime Gonzalez. We have trusted them to determine where it is best for us to go and serve.
Our hotel and transportation arrangements are being set up by Dennis Smith. Dennis is the detail man and I am assured he will take care of things for us.
As much as we have tried to plan for all things we could consider, there’s just no telling how things may end up. The Lord will honor our preparation but it is critical we depart the US with a flexible and willing attitude. Other countries do not operate on the same clock as we do. We may plan to depart at a set time only to find out we wait for awhile until …. and then suddenly it’s time to go. Meal times will not be set time but we will eat!
As part of the preparation for this trip, please pray to set your American ideas of how things should be aside and ask the Lord to help you fully experience the culture that you will be part of on this trip.
